Question for the Ultra owners.

Got caught in the rain the other day and the drops were blowing up into my visor and onto my sunglasses. This totally sucked and impaired my vision.

So while riding yesterday, I traced the breeze and it appears to be coming from between the fairing and the lowers. Anyone else had this problem? Did removing the lowers solve it?

Really cant remove the lowers, they hide the coolant tank (if Twin cooled).

On bikes without coolers in the lowers, removing them will allow you to put your feet up on the top of the crash bar, the bottom of your feet will get wet , but they fill the gap. You will notice how the air flow changes right away......the heat from the engine will come up between your legs , the seat and the gas tank, on a cold ride this isn't a bad thing, especially if your bike doesn't have hand warmers.

2010. No water cooling.

Bike already has one of those. Wind is coming from outside the tubes.

What alan S showes will take care of the wind coming up the fairing, and they will work with running lights with a little tweaking.
