I inherited this from my brother in '92. It needed a lot of work then, and as a second bike it was always low on the priority list for repairs (a lot of quick fixes). Several years ago a friend who is into bikes wanted to do a makeover so I took it to his place. He started and lost interest so I retrieved the bike and a lot of new/spare parts. This summer's project is a restoral.
1979 Harley Davidson FXEF Superglide (Red (currently))
New to both. badass wheels (see picture)
1200 (74) Shovel. Has an added oil cooler. Exhaust is unknown, don't think it's stock. Too quiet for my liking, really. Has a busted mounting tab. I'll either have a new tab welded on or go with straight pipes.
Pending - new paint
Put on a new chromed out front end. Before I got the bike it had forward controls put on. I see where the originals went on the left, no idea on the right. I'll stick with forwards anyway.
Brand new Mustang 2 person seat. Unsat upon. It's got a sissy bar (man, it's hard sometime to think of non-profane names for some of these parts LOL) but I think that's going to become a shelf item, all though I know I'll get mega grief from the Spousal Unit - but she hasn't packed behind me in 5 years now.
Wheel and Tire
Old school - no to any of this tripe
