I've ridden street and dirt for nearly 40 years and have had more than 15 different bikes but this is my first Harley. I last had a KTM 990 Adventure and a Honda XR650L but I needed something different so without really thinking about it I walking in to a dealer last Memorial Day (2014) and sitting on the floor was this 14 Fat Bob with 16 miles on it. Some guy won it in a raffle, rode it around the block and decided to trade it in on a waverunner. Oh well, to each his own. At any rate, they had to sell it as used and because it was Memorial Day they were running a sales promo. It was toward the end of the day and the bike was listed for $15,800. Of course there's the plus, plus so i'd be around $18 by the time all was said and done. Not wanting to spend that much I said to the hungry young sales guy, "you get me out the door, and I mean out the door for $15,000 and I'll take it". Thinking they would totally blow me off, they returned saying $15,500 and it's yours! So, here we are. Not knowing how to leave well enough alone, things started to get added on. With a sickening need for speed, I started adding the pip, breather, power commander, ect. As soon as she was broken in, in went the cams. Now this thing honestly kicks ass!
