FLH Police Panhead
original 6v, mechanical siren, lights, speedo-lock
I bought this rolling basket in 2006 from a neighbor who was parting it out due to immediate financial problems. I picked it up for a good price with a box of extra old parts. It was a Reno Nv. city street patrol bike, and retired, sold from auction in 1972 to the guy I bought it from. It had not been ridden in many years but with a little TLC, tune-up and battery I had it going within a few weeks. In December 2006 I started the complete restoration and finished within 9 mos.
1964 Harley Davidson FLH Police Panhead (blue white)
stock 16" rims with twisted chrome spokes, powder coated drums, H.D. Dunlop tires
stock Pan engine with S+S carb. Original police 'growler siren' that runs loud when it rubs the rear wheel.
still 6v. after market windshield and saddle bags. Old original saddle bags were in too rough shape to repair, however they sold on ebay for more than the new ones!
