I've moved my license plate under my taillight and now want to get a lens without the license plate window on the top. I cannot find a smoked lens w/o top window for the 73-99 model. I was able to put my 97 lens on my friends 05 Road King, his lens had a solid back to it though. Can I cut that back out and his lens 05 lens fit my 97 Road King? Has anyone else done this? Thanks.
