Look for wires that are rubbing , look at bends real close .
You're getting a short in the wiring....bad news is that it is intermittently shorted. That's the hardest kind to trace down. :mad :mad :madAny suggestions or experience would be appreciated. My left turn signal only would blink twice then stop blinking. Was told it could be my TSSM Mod. Temporarily, just ran it like that for a couple of weeks. Then my fuse blew for the lamps, no lights at all except my brake lights. Check a few things, replace fuse. Upon start up, all my lights were working including me left blinker. Ran for about an hour, my rear right tail light/blinker went out (have the brake light mod for blinkers as well). Then the brake light/tail light (on Fender) went out. Left one stayed on a while before it went out. Did notice the lights fading on and off for several mile before the entire back lights went out. Only the back lights went out (brake, turn signals on rear). The front turn signals and head beam were on, turn signals would not blink but had running lights. Found fuse for lights blown. Can't read any codes on the illumination panels, it doesn't even go into the mode for codes. Decided to try an see if my manual alarm would set to test the running lights without the key on. Pressed the key fob to try and set the alarm, the battery fuse blows immediately. The only added accessories to this bike is the rear turn signal brake module ( by pass that and nothing changed), and a power commander tuner. Please advise of any testing stragedies or suggestions?
