Thinking of up grading my rear shocks on my bike as mine dont seem to hold the pressure. What are the size of mine.... I see some adds are for 11.5 and others says diffrent sizes so i am a little lost. Also has anyone does this and was it worth it? Also what king did you go with.

I think stock SG shocks are 12 inches, 13" are for the taller Glides.

I went with Progressive 940-402OUT and they are touted as giving you 13" of travel in a 12 inch shock (stock SG ride height).

I couldn't be happier with mine. I weigh 216, my wife about 190 (and if she reads that I'll be dead so it won't matter) . I have the shocks set 3 turns up from the softest setting, that is perfect for us two up, it's alittle stiff solo, but I like that setting, and I sometimes pull a trailer.

The new generation of 940 shocks are 944's and they have "frequency sensing technology" whatever that is. I think the 944's may have replaced the 940's and they are a bit more pricy. I got mine off e-bay for about $480, and like I say, I wouldn't go back to the oem air shocks, no thank you.
