Hey guys,

Yesterday I had just picked my bike up from the shop after getting new bars installed on it. Rode the bike for several hours and then headed home. About an hour later the old lady and I took it for a ride out to dinner. The bike started hesitating acting like I was getting in and out of the throttle. Then finally just stalled. I got it to fire up a couple times but would stall as soon as we would go to take off. After about the third time of this.. Everything went dead on the bike. I checked battery connections... (Negative was a little loose) fired the bike up and didn't have the problem again.

Anybody know what could be causing that to happen?

Loose negative cable would limit the charging volts to the battery, when the battery gets low enough the ignition starts cutting out. After tightening the negative the battery was able to recharge. I would put the battery on a trickle charge overnight to get it fully charged.
