I was going to post (stock) 1/4 mile nums and dyno reports found at certain publications but then looking at your post thought perhaps you were seeking results from members here... if they had taking a spin down a drag strip. Have a few nums from publcations if interested.

I think the dyno numbers and 1/4 miles times posted by VRYQUIK just about makes any body else feel foolish.

From Motorcycle Consumer News (Dyno at Irvine, CA)

My 01 Sporty ran 7.89 at 89 mph in the 1/8.

Not too bad with my 250lb butt on board, forward controls, slipping clutch and a slow 2.0 60ft.

what kind of tire, what kind of work did you have done. i recently crashed my vrod and killed it..........so i'm looking for another race bike. not to worried about how fast it is as i bracket race and would like to find a el cheapo sporty so i can continue to race AHDRA.

Somehow I missed your post

I'm running NRHS 1250 kit with 536 cams and also had them do a stage 2 job on my lightning heads. Best to date is 60ft 1.80, 330 4.97, 1/8ET 7.75 at 88.35mph, 1/4ET 12.32 at 105.31mph. Still have alittle clutch slip so maybe 7.50's in the 1/8 should be doable after somemore tuning.

I put an 07 FXDC 4.5 rim and 160 tire assy on my 01 frame, with a few mods it fits the stock swingarm.

Waiting for NRHS 90" kit to show up next, well see if I can break into the 6's in the 1/8 ???.
