Hello, I am having an issue with my bike that I do not know where to start. The list of problems below.

When releasing throttle the bike has started to backfire slightly (previously not an issue)
When I start to come to a stop the engine will drop out and die if I dont keep it running with the throttle. Or when preparing for a turn. It'll happen almost every time.

The engine will also studder when trying to remain at a consistent speed in 2nd 3rd and 4th gear. It doesn't appear to respond to the throttle until I have it turned 1/4 maybe. Which will then give the bike a huge jump.

Any ideas?

Sounds like the intake manifold seals or the accelerator pump is bad.
They are both made from rubber, they break down over time.

Sounds like a job for a good carburetor guy (or gal) new plugs/wires, timing check, etc should get you back in business in no time.

Get a factory service manual and do it yourself.
