Just a thought on the bags , I am sure the bag size I was informed where fat boy size bags ? actually pretty small but one day trip I made to France ( only a short journey from England ) took the Euro Train 1/2 hour your there.
Any how I stuffed them bags with 4 bottles of wine and some Cheese If those bags are out of shape which I would have thought they will be you can stuff them out with plenty of paper and smoother them in leather conditioner .

If you still have the factory style shotgun exaust, (fat boy style) the bags will be short because of the exaust. If the bike has an exaust with low pipes like a heritage or something you can use the larger heritage style bags. You will need to move the rear turn signals.
