Always rode metrics, never thought harleys had enough power. I've had VTX 1800, Vulcan nomad, 109's...but this new biker has changed my mind. At 44 I've been riding since i was 6 (Honda trail 50), but never a Harley.

I went to buy a 08 road king, but this 01 with a stage 3 kit just spoke to me. Its a Classic with dual air ride, hard bags, and a Tach. I am not too familiar with all of the Harley lingo, but this bike really goes.

I guess i now get the "Harley thing", that connection with a biker is weird.

See you on the road.

Welcome from Maine. I always had metrics (specifically 1000cc super sports) and while I really enjoy my HD I have to be honest and say it performs like a loaded cement truck with flat tires in comparison.

Welcome from the Gulf Coast. Glad you get it now--not everybody does or ever will.
Sometimes you want a go-kart, sometimes you need a cement truck. :laugh
