I have a 14 Wide Glide with 4800 miles on it. I've gone on line and it seems like not much to choose from for the 180/60/B17 rear.

I thought I would get more mileage from the Michelin's Scorcher 31

Any ideas or am I missing something.

thanks

Can't help you with tires for a glide but 4800 miles is on the low side for milage on any set of tires. Also you may want to go to the new members area and introduce yourself.

Avon 180/55zr17 107 bucks will fit at JPCycles. Continue makes a nice 180/55zr17 on close out at bike bandit for 89 bucks. Pirelli 180/60zr17 at Motorsport 149 bucks. Shinzo 180/55zr17 at leather up 106 bucks

Try some Michelins. You will get at least 4900 miles out of them.

I can get at least another 2500miles out of them, but I am planning on going the Sturgis this year and I will need one before then. Maybe there is more miles left on it than I think, I don't know? It still rides good, no slipping just trying to plan ahead.

Michelin's Scorcher 31 is what is on it now.

4800 miles?? Wow. I got 15,500 out of my stock Dunlop on my 13 Street glide. Just replaced front at 21,600. You must have more miles left. Have the tire gauged.

Thanks for the info, I will have them gauged. I may just be used to the amount of tread on my truck tires. You know us newbies. LOL
