2008 105th Anniversary Edition 1200custom
Hi All.
New to Harley's. I sold my 98 Jap and bought the above about a month ago with only 300 miles on it. All fluids and tires were obviously original from the factory. I changed all the fluids and checked the tires for dry rot. Having a blast in here in NY's Rockland County except for one thing. Is there a more comfortable seat available for this bike? At my local HD store I got to sit on some of the bigger bikes. The seats were like sofas! Any input would be greatly appreciated.

To answer the OP's question, theres a lot of different seats available for the sporty. the Mustang is one of the more popular ones.
I'll agree with the mustang seat...never ridden a sporty... But have upgraded with a mustang seat on other scoots and loved it!

Welcome from Conway, SC. +2 on Mustang seats. Made a huge difference on my Road King.
I put a Mustang Tripper on my Sportster and what a difference. Best price I found was on Amazon. Ordered it on a Sunday and had it on Tuesday. (during the winter)

Thanks for the info. I had a Mustang seat on a different bike of mine and it was great. I was thinking though of an original HD seat. Sat on some of the bigger Harley's at the store and fell asleep! Would those work?

You may be able to find similar styled seats to the Baggers. But different frame style.Thanks for the info. I had a Mustang seat on a different bike of mine and it was great. My sundowner two-up is a good seat but it fails in comparison to my neighbors mustang tripper.
