Yup,Let me clarify:
The ECM has nothing to do with clutch lockup...(Just like I already said).
If the clutch is slipping, it is a mechanical (or hydraulic) issue, not electronic.
It's the slipping clutch that is confusing the "electronic brain" (ECU).
Before we had all of the electronics, you either had a slipping clutch or you didn't.
The throttle was totally controlled by your right hand.
If you had a slipping clutch, you learned not to be as aggressive with the throttle.
You also learned to properly adjust your clutch ... And all of the other cable-operated items. :wink
