Hey there just got a used 2017 Harley Street 500. Came with two Fobs but the bike is really fussy about recognizing them. You have to turn the key on/off a few times for it to work, it's always wanting the PIN. I've tried replacing batteries in both but hasn't made a different.
Are the Street Fobs really unreliable or is it just me?

Check under the seat to verify the security antenna is located correctly and secured in the holder.

My 2019 Heritage wouldn't recognize one of my FOB's, took it to the dealer after a battery change didn't solve the problem. They hooked it to their computer and reprogramed the FOB, no more problems.

Hi,
I just got the message of "no fob" in my brand new street rod! I used to turn it on by pin number!

I will take it to dealer soon.
