I'm fairly certain that Harley-Davidson would not use a named aftermarket brand on their bikes from the factory. Maybe added at the dealer though but I doubt it. Some dealers sell aftermarket stuff. What do you mean by "aftermarket quality" ? That is wide open for interpretation.

Somewhat related to the topic, I’ve been kicking around the notion of just taking the $ I’ve set aside for the oil pump, cam plate, pushrods, vented dipstick, tires, front pads, and battery, and putting it and my SG towards a ‘21 RG which would already have everything “right” except for the lifters/cuffs as Tommy noted. Not sure I feel the need to have a cable clutch instead of hydraulic, but the ‘21 I looked at had 90° valve stems, and those are a game changer ;). Having a warranty would be nice as well. Not sure all of that is worth taking the hit on the depreciation.
