Whilst I had the left panel off , I was looking for the outlet to plug a tuner in , is this it ? The internals of the outlet don’t look right ?I assume this is the factory tender plug , my CTek charger doesn’t fit , I will install a harness for the CTek charger .
That's the one.I assume this is the factory tender plug , my CTek charger doesn’t fit , I will install a harness for the CTek charger .
That second pic looks like the diagnostic port.Whilst I had the left panel off , I was looking for the outlet to plug a tuner in , is this it ? The internals of the outlet don’t look right ?
Thanks for confirmation .That's the one.
I agree .Damm. Some people shouldn't even be allowed ho handle a screwdriver
I don’t have a tuner yet , I was thinking of getting an FP3 or getting a dealer to install to complete the stage 1 .Not sure which tuner you are using, my PCV just plugged in line with the ECM box using the main ECM plug. And yes that is the tender plug, here in SC most off the shelf chargers at the auto stores have a matching tender plug
Thanks for confirming , trying to get to know my way around this bike , plan on keeping it a long time .That second pic looks like the diagnostic port.
I’m 69 and bought probably my last 2 wheel bike in 2019. Heritage Classic 114 that I’m constantly “improving”. Tri Glide when my knees give out. That's the way I see it at 63 my 08 is probably the last one, next in line will be a convertible when I get to old to hold up the bike.
Do some internet searches and find a cable adapter that converts the SAE pigtail for the battery tender to your heated gear connector. Personally I prefer to have only one connector hanging out and seeing as I will never use my heated gear and battery tender at the same time, it just makes sense to use an adapter.Hi,
Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the battery on a 2022 Softail? With the new suspension spring under the seat on this model one can't just get to the battery from the top like in older models, and I could not figure out how to do it.
I want to install a connector for my wife's heated clothing gear (it's her bike!).
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
