I bought the bike yesterday. I've been hearing this faint, but annoying clicking or tapping noise that sounds like a fluttering click that clearly corresponds with the RPM's. It grows louder and faster as I accelerate/decelerate.
I took the bike to the dealer this morning. Three people looked at it and claimed that they either could not hear the noise, which I distinctly hear, or that this tapping was common or normal in the Milwaukee 8 engines. Previously, I owned a 2016 Road Glide with a V-Twin 103. They claimed the V-Twins were quieter than the M8's. Perhaps I have sensitive ears. But, I have a hard time grasping the "normalcy" of a tapping noise in any brand new motorcycle (less than 200 miles).
I'd be grateful for your feedback.
