6-speed update
Can I eliminate noisy 6-speed in my 2009 nitetrain by updating gears to later gears, shafts?

The pepto stuff from Redline really is quieter.
that said, the noise is just noise. If the transmission shifts fine, why does it matter?
6-speed in 2009 has straight cut gears in 1st and 4th. changing them to a helical in 4th from a straight cut isn't cost effective. Run a hypoid gear lube in trans of 75-140 or BellRay 85-140 that I run now thanks to Wingnut......
Have a friend who says 6-speeds tend to fail around 30K plus. Told him to go smoke some Belray and get back to me.
