I recently purchased a HD 7-inch Headlamp Trim Ring for my 2014 Streetglide. In the process of trying to get it to fit nice and tight I stripped out the phillips head on the bolt. I went and purchased a #6 and #8 SS bolt and found neither fit the nut that came with the Trim Ring. It could be metric but does anyone know the size? It's not given in the instructions.

No I don't know the size.

I'd just take both to your local hardware store and find either a nut that matches the bolt, or a bolt that matches the nut.
