I have a 1990 Ultra Classic that belonged to my dad who recently passed away. I plan on getting it painted but wanted to change out the fairing for something with newer style gauges. I've read that you can get the newer style factory fairing and just need to re-wire everything. Are there any other options? Maybe a direct replacement that you can just stick gauges in?

Any help, insight, or suggestions are appreciated!

I don't know the answer, but that is a good looking 25 yr old scoot.

If my dad left that to me,I'd leave it alone and ride it. I have my dad's last bike,it's a Suzuki.

You have to switch to a 96 and up fairing to get what you want. A lot of work just for gauges. Imo not worth the effort.

Thanks guys, these are things he wanted to do but never got the chance. So I want to finish it for him so to speak.

@FritzHD - Thanks for the info, that what I thought. I know it's a lot of effort but a 96 and up fairing packed full of dakota digitals would be pretty bad ass.
