Not arguing with you. Just thought I`d read they needed, at least checked, every 3k. :dunnoNew neck bearings every 10k or less on that year and model Harley.
Neck bearings need correct adjustment as do the rockers initially.
Otherwise low maintenance.
Thanks.Can't remember the year but after the MoCo changed the neck rake on the Springers they became bullet proof. Prior to that the neck bearings would notch and need replacing in 10k or less. I'm thinking '99 or '00 was the change up year.
