I did a forum search and sent a PM to member Lord Maximo. But in case he doesn't get it: Does anyone know how to get that 90-degree fitting apart to replace the o-rings? I have also read articles on how to convert the stock fitting using 1/8" NPT threaded fittings but the articles dont say how to get that fitting apart.

I'm assuming you mean the fittings that attach the fuel line to the tank. Early style fuel lines unscrew from the bottom of the tank, later ones unplug by pushing the connector sleeve upwards and pulling the fitting apart.
You might want to squirt some WD-40 on the fittings to make them separate easier.

If it is the same as the 99 I had with MM injection and 2 fuel lines, you will have to replace them.
Just replacing the o-ring up in the tank won't stop the leak and there is no way to take the fitting apart to replace o-ring inside.
J&P has a set of stainless braided lines, check it out.
That's what I did and no more leaks.
