watch the youtube video on carb adjustment , its easy, maybe your rebuilt just needs that needle mix adjusted

having issues with my 99 sportster 1200. it will start but if you slowly apply throttle it dies almost like its flooding out. after it dies it won't start again. I've rebuilt the carb, put in new plugs.traced and checked wiring and have fresh gas. any suggestions?

Clean the petcock debris screen.
