The SP-1 Glove from Alpinestars is a mid-range model designed for the street rider. They’re perfect for late season riding too. That’s because, even though there are perforations located on certain parts of the exterior, their effect is minimal making them ideal for cooler weather. Alpinestars SP1 gloves are cut with a close-fit and have accordion leather stretch panels over the first three fingers and on the outer side of the thumb. For the rider, this provides exceptional dexterity while permitting a near custom fit for a wide range of hand shapes. Each palm is supple for excellent feel of the controls, yet durable with an extra layer of protection in the form of synthetic Clarino leather. Part of this extra paneling is padded as is the outer side of the thumb and the wrist closure. The top of the glove is dominated by a carbon fiber knuckle protector which is padded on the inside to reduce the pain associated with any hard hit it may encounter.

Palms are reinforced with an extra layer of Clarino leather. Notice also the padded compartments sewn into the darker suede-looking Clarino.

The upper portion of the glove is made up of multiple layers of leather to impart extra abrasion resistance and flexibility.

An adjustable wrist strap holds the glove securely in place. Directly behind this is a dual-closure gauntlet that holds firm against the glove with Velcro.

These are such decent gloves for Alpinestars. Seems like you haven't worn them and should be in good condition right? I need a pair for my ride.
