I use that lift without any problems at all. :)
I pick up one of these at Lowe's, $50, on close out. Check your local Lowe's

Have used one of those for two years. When my Ultra is in the garage, it is on the lift. No problems.

I have two of them. no problems in 5 years or so

One for the garage

And one for the trailer so when we relocate to warm climes for the winter I can work on the bikes there.

I have one, works fine.
J&S is a great lift. Maybe a little pricey. I bit the bullet and bought one and love it. Bike stays solid on the lift with no need to tie down. Check them out on youtube. They have a video comparing the Pittbull, Harbor Freight, one other I can't remember the name of and the J&S.
I have the HF lift and been using it for 3 years, works great. My only suggestion is to raise the platform all the way up before you let it down. Reason being, once you step on the release, the bike will drop an inch or so before the control descent will activate. So having it up higher will allow everything to drop smoothly back to the pavement.

Same same with mine...
I have one, works great! Had to take it apart and paint it. Couldn't stand the yellow. Painted it Harley orange where it was yellow, left the black parts black. I know I know it didn't happen unless there's a picture. Will post picture in morning

Nice.
HF lift

I have the Harbor Freight Red lift modified with the side pads extended out a little to fit my 08 FXD and it works just great.
I have had the HF lift for two years and have had no problems with it. My bike stays on it all the time when I'm not riding.
That the kitchen or living room floor?
I have the HF High motorcycle lift. on sale in December for $179.00 had a 20% off online coupon. I been using it. Right now for storage. I think its a nice lift and for $145 with discounts. Easy to put together, just changed out the weak look tie downs, but even without tie downs my bike doesn't move.

Lol it's the cave where all the shining and work on the bike goes on.

I have the one from Harley. Yeah-pricey-but I did get 20% off. Love the rotary action and it takes up minimal space in my one-car garage. (Townhouse.) Easy to roll around and fits right in front of my wife's PT Cruiser in the winter.

Stay vertical. ----------Jack
