I purchased a 2013 Electra Glide Ultra Limited three weeks ago. I’ve put over 4,000 miles already. I haven’t had a chance to purchase the repair manual yet. I noticed the drive belt was out of spec (as per the owner's manual). In order to adjust the belt, you have to remove the exhaust extensions. The driver's side one was rusted on. I had to peel it off with an air chisel. I was able to repair and reuse the screaming eagle extension. In replacing the extensions, I used anti-seize in order to be able to remove them again in the future. I’m curious. Does anyone know if the use of anti-seize is called for in the manual? What do others do to make the extensions removable for servicing?
