Any experiences with "Further Forward Mid-Control Kit"

Anyone out here installed the "Further Forward Mid-Control Kit-50500386" on their Dyna?
I am 6'1" and not interested in Forward Controls as I have forward pegs mounted up front and enjoy the option of multiple foot positions.
Nevertheless, the idea of moving my foot forward just a tad seems comfortable (but a $300+ comfort)

I saw this pic of me on the Dragon using the mids, and my knees looked awfully high!

never heard of such a kit so im pulling up a chair for this thread
I am 6' tall and have forward controls on my 2009 FXDC. Its nice to have a place to add your feet to another position. Long rides take their toll on your knees. I didn't want another set of footpegs as such. I bought these kuryakan stirrups...comfort difference is amazing..Heel is supported and takes alot of pressure off of the leg. Great for long rides.

looked at the kit on Further Forward Mid-Control Kit-50500386 on their website. Never new this existed. But its all personal choice.
Anything about moving forward controls back to mids?
Seems so new no one has installed them. I laid the bike down and suffered a bent brake mount pin on the right peg. If I need to replace that foot peg I may well try it.

I have since learned these "further forward"mounts are OE on the new Dyna Low Riders. Apparently the MoCo are marketing them to other Dynas too.
I wish these had been around when I wanted to move the mids forward an inch or three! They look really neat. + you don't have to muck about with the shaft thro' the primary case so the fitting is child's play
Even the reduced reach forward controls weren't available so I had to muck about with kick-back plates, modified brake rods etc. (I'm nowhere near 6') Time and money-consuming!
At $300 I'd be very tempted to scrap what I've got (except for the Iso-pegs + stirrups) and go with these. Problem is, they won't be $300 over here
You can get them on line from New Castle Harley Davidson for $251.63 + freight.
Ok I've got to have these. I can't reach the HD forward controls but would like to move my feet out just a little bit. Great idea.

Just wondering , would this kit increase/decrease cornering clearance ?
I recently installed them on my 2006 Low Rider. Just what I needed. Gives me just enough extra room so I don't feel cramped. Plus (and this is big) I can still use my legs to go over the bumps, keeping pressure off my tailbone. Direct substitute for HD OE mid controls. Easy to install, and well worth the $319.
