You mean spark plugs? Never heard of them. I wouldn't pay to much for them Hi tech spark plugs- over hd ones or champion etc. All a spark plug does is start a flame propagation in the cylinder. As long as that pressure wave is started on time thats all you need!:thumbsup

if you have not seen them they are bit like msd, more spark here is the link. there is a vid of the spark it is a side by side test so you can see them and it is a lot bigger and more intencs just like having a msd system on your bike

Nope, doesn't work that way.

Think of it this way-

You spill a 5 gallon bucket of gas on your garage floor, you wait five minutes with the door shut, you and ur buddy both have matches,

scenario 1- you strike one match
scenario 2- your buddy strike the whole book

end scenario- you would both be burned alive at the very same speed

Again all spark plugs do it start a flame front that generates an enormous pressure wave (BMEP) brake mean effective pressure- thats the theoretical force pushing down on the piston. Doesn't matter that you have a big bore kit, (these are all small engines).

You can put two plugs in and it still shouldn't run any different- just sayn- don't spend alot of money on crap that claims to make more horsepower etc. It doesn't. I've run many a dyno- I know, now you know, just go but champs or HD ones.

From the website: I gotta call bs on this one fellas, the only way they can put actual test results like this is by altering the setup. different this different that- ign timing, spark plug gap, old wires, too much to list, No fuggin way the same motor, same everything, just by installing these 70$ plugs- unless the old ones were 15 years old, fouled, rusty, cracked insulator, and had huge gaps among other things- don't be fooled. It didn't happen.

Just like the ol slick 50 commercials, and so forth, they didn't tell you in the fine print, that headers were installed, different carbs, manifolds, ign systems, etc. When it comes to efficiency, they are really bending you over.

Thing is with only around 100 HP engines, a brand new air cleaner, or no a/c vs one packed for of asphalt, could almost make up that difference......

Simple physics: These are "heat engines" fuel is used or consumed to create heat, or expanding gases from a controlled combustion. There are no miracle fuel line magnets either!:laugh:laugh

 

sounds like a check engine light waiting to happen. The ion system needs OEM coil, plugs, and wires to work. OEM plugs always work best. Unless your running 11:1 compression or something were you need a different heat range plug. Fancy plugs are just snake oil. All ways use OEM plugs in everything because thats what your ignition system was designed for.

I tried some fancy spark plugs about 6 or 8 years ago on my turbo charged Eagle Talon. I ended up going back to the cheap ol' NGK's because I kept having problems with spark blow out. I have to agree with the others, high performance spark plugs are snake oil.

 

I like using Patchouli oil.

The look of horror on the hippies faces as you chuck them in the car crusher to squish them is priceless!

 

Spark plugs don't create spark. They only are the device that allows the spark to jump to a ground, giving you the physical spark. The coil output, wires and electrics of a vehicle is what creates the voltage that becomes a "spark". A "bigger" spark has nothing to do with performance. If the fuel lights, the amount of fuel, timing, compression, duration, overlap and tuned exhaust is what creates more power. If you need "more spark" to burn fuel in your cylinders, you're running to rich to begin with......

 

Unless you are running super high compression Nitro-Methane motors.
But then, a simple sparkplug swap ain't gonna cut it. :laugh
