Been running the originals for awhile and real happy with them. Rear tire is about gone ('bout 15K!) Have an AE2 waiting. Probably get around to installing this coming week.

BTW Sumitomo owns Dunlop (Jan '25) these days. Not necessarily a bad thing. Other than tariffs. They closed the US manufacturing 'cause it's just too much of a headache manufacturing here tariffs or no tariffs.

So far so good on the new AE2 rear. Got a couple hundred on it and I can perceive nothing other than the new tire ease of turn in from the profile change old to new. What makes me happiest is it gets along excellently with the used old version front. My bike is set up a little different than most Harleys. I run the police solo seat which gives me about 3 or so inches higher ride height and a little forward. The rear is as high as I can get it to ride w/o losing small bump compliance. Need shocks. Fork tubes are run higher than spec in the trees. It turns in well and is stable...as long as you are smooth with movement. Anything jerky will provoke a head shake on exit. Should probably run a damper but I just don't do that stuff. It is still an 800 pound motorcycle that surprises you that it is an 800 pound motorcycle when ridden fast on twisty roads.

Anyways the tire works as well as it's predecessor so far. Even did well in the rain on the way home from being mounted. My bike is very picky about tires and it's a good one that works on it.
