Thanks!!! That’s exactly what I was looking for, now that brings up another question. It says 0 for xl models and 2 for buel blasts, what would 1 and 3 be? Is it like 0 for xl883 1 for xl1200 2 for buel blast and 3 for a different buel? What do you guys think?

Buell Blast has a single cylinder engine, Sportsters are 2 cylinder engines. Don't use the Buell Blast setting.

Use Mode Sel 0 for 883 and 1200 Sportster. Adv Slope is where you set the advance timing settings. That setting would depend on what performance mods have been done to the motor.

What, wait?? HD doesn't manufacture their own performance products, but rebrands aftermarket stuff?? Kinda makes you wonder about them voiding warranty claims for using non HD parts doesn't it?
Thats been true for as long as I can remember. Only thing HD makes is the fenders, tank, frame, fairings, saddlebags....

Pretty much true for all vehicle manufacturers, they contract out the parts they need and just assemble using JIT manufacturing.

So here’s the list of what I know has been done, s&s super e carb and teardrop air cleaner, screamin Eagle ignition and drag pipes, so what amount of advance would you think I’d need? Initial setting says 5 to start but what would I be looking for? To much timing can be detrimental correct?

Whatever the instructions indicate as stock advanced curve for that 1200.

None of those mods requires a change in the timing advance unless you're chasing peak numbers.

No $hit...
I just got my "revised warranty" from the mo-co. FTC says they can't void warranties anymore for doing your own service or aftermarket parts..unless they can prove the failures were in fact caused by you or the aftermarket parts.
I had a Memphis Shade windshield on my Ultra...service dept pulled my fairing off to fix the radio..cracked the corners of the windshield (both corners) and said they would only replace it if it was a Harley part.

Would your dealership replace the service writer's teeth if you kicked them out with a non-Harley steel toed boot?
