Are these shocks adjustable? Looking at the holes on the bottom look like some I've seen that can be adjusted?

Yep adjustable, just need to put the special spanner wrench into the holes and turn to tighten or loosen the shocks is all.

Thanks for the speedy response! Follow up questions, when you say tighten or loosen - will that lower or increase the height? or just make the ride stiffer? And where would one find such a spanner?

Home Depot, harbor freight,etc. As you adjust the lowest point will stop and offer softest ride. Depending on how much weight you'll move the adjustment to the ride you prefer. Won't make much difference in height.

Sometimes the shock adjustment tool is found under the seat. It's that way on my wife's Forty-Eight.

While you're at it, tighten the top shock mount bolt.

It adjusts what is known as 'preload'.
