I have one of the older HD casette stereos that has an automatic volume control.
What do I have to do to stop this?

I prefer to maintain the volume myself.

Also... There is a loud POP at 25mph when I accelerate or slow down to 25mph. Anyone know why?

[I prefer to maintain the volume myself] check to see if you can find an icon that says "avc" on your display.that stands for auto volume control.try to turn it off. i can't tell you how because i'm not familiar with your unit.:thumb

Could not find the icon but thanks for trying...I bought the bike used and do not have the owners manual for the stereo, I will try to find one online.

I'm pretty sure the amount of AVC is controlled by pressing the volume switch in on the hand controls ,i believe there are six setting. My guess would be one of them is off
