My friend has the stage 2 Boom system on his bike and it sounds decent, was wondering if there is another brand that would be more worth the money...looking to do only the 2 fairing speakers. Also have heard good things about Rockford Fosgate

I have a system from ROKKER, the amp works with my 2014 ultra head unit. I keep all handlebar controls. I also purchased the paired speakers. Everything is designed together so there is less chance of blowing up speakers. Not connected to them other than being a customer, I am happy with it. Maybe at some point I will switch to the Sony head unit, but for my Canada/Alaska trip coming up I am keeping the boom head unit because I can keep its GPS functions even though I might have no cell service. If I switch to the Sony unit now I only have what I can access from my phone through carplay.
