Best Handlebars for a Wide Glide? - 2006

Trying to solicit some info as I consider new Handlebars.
- Originally wanted the look of the raised drag bars (never rode with em)

- Have stock mini apes 12". Pushed them up so they are basically perpendicular to the ground. Found I like the feel and handling quite a bit.....just not the "When I grow up I want Apes" look.

- Looking at 14" apes to expand the look and feel of the minis without riding with my arms up in the air too much for those weekend runs. Not 100% sold on them.

- *Can you suggest handlebars that you found..well look bad-ass..on a WG and still handle well? Doesn't need to be apes. Pics and why you like them would be awesome for me and others who may be seeking similar info.
Cheers~~

Im still using the stock mini apes on my wg also but ive been looking into the Z-Bar apes. I like the hard angle look of them but also considered traditional apes. The T-Bar drag style look nice on other dynas but with rake of wg's it looks kinda not natural.

Post some pics of your current set up so we know what we're working with.
Last year I installed a set of Hill Country Custom 16" apes on my 2005 Wide Glide and I absolutely love them. I am 6'1" tall and have a tall seat (that lets me stretch my legs out). The reason I mention this is because you said that you are afraid of riding with your arms up in the air too much. Because of my height and the height of my seat, my arms are level with the tops of the bars and I don't with my arms up in the air (which causes fatigue).
