Just got a 2013 street glide FLX I am on the market for better seats. I am 5'.7" and the stock seat is not working for me, even on short rides I am getting lower back pain. I will appreciate any suggestions.

Have Mean City Cycles re-do it for you, they are experts in custom MC seats.

I love my Fastback! I picked up the one with A backrest and it's AWESOME!
Getting your seat customized is a great way to go. But if you're looking for an off the shelf seat, check with your dealer. Some of them will let you try out seats for a short ride or even "rent" a seat for a day. If you're looking at HD seats, give the Sundowner a look. And look at the rider's backrest too. I love mine on my Ultra Limited.

This works. The dealer I use let's you take the trial seat for three days to see if you like it. Although I think I am going to have the stock reworked to make the Mrs. happy.

Peanut... unless they can rework the "stock" seat so that the passenger part is wider, Your Mrs. will be much happier with the sundowner or hammock seat. the passenger part of the seat is like 14" wide where the stock is like 8 or 9 inches wide.
and to the OP, the seat may be all or just some of your problems. are you still running the stock handle bars? if so, they may be putting in a reach type situation and causing the back pain. I know on my '12 SG, it was giving me a burning sensation in my neck and shoulders. new 12.5" bars cured that instantly.

also, with your height, you man need to look at some of the seats that are designed to sit you lower.

Just some things for your to consider, hope you get it where you like it.
Jaxglide had his stock seat redone by Mean City. I've seen it and sat on it. It was very comfortable. He needed so sit lower in the seat and gain some leg length PLUS get some extra padding for more comfort. They hooked him up like a mouse that found a lifetime supply of AAA grade Wisconsin cheddar cheese. That seat is the 'shizzle'.
also look into the saddleman "heals down" seats

they are made for shorter riders -move you a little forward and drop you down a bit
thank you all for the suggestions
