You making multiple posts on the same subject for one.What is wrong?
I would first check to see which version is currently installed. If it is an older version. Then clear the file on the pen drive and go back to the website and fallow the download instructions exactly. Basically, just delete the file on the pen drive and start over. It could be the file caught a glitch along the way. Mine did the same thing, first time i tried this.I download the latest BOOM GTS software from HD site. I zipped the file generating an ISO format file. I saved it on an USB pen and followed the manual instruction.*
Unfortunatelly the BOOM show an error message saying that the file is not correct.*
What is wrong?

How do i get just the iso file? It's in one of those sub folders isn't it?Reformat your flashdrive, and download only the .iso file, that should do it.
When you unzip the downloaded file from H-D, there will be two files, an .iso (usually about 1MB) and a .txt. Copy the .iso file into the root directory of the USB drive and make sure it is the only file there (just as a precaution).How do i get just the iso file? It's in one of those sub folders isn't it?

I don't see anything labeled .iso ... I admit i'm as dumb as a box of rocks with this stuff!

I think you may have downloaded a bad - or the wrong - files. I can't find those folders for any type of Infotainment System download (updates, dealer POIs, or map updates). Could be that they had a bad load when you went to download.
1) Assuming you are still based in the USA, go to BOOM! Box 6.5GT Infotainment System | Harley Davidson USA and download the files for the Boom! Box Premium. The website says it's 840MB, but when I downloaded, it was actually 860MB (zipped).
2) Once downloaded, open the zip file and it will expand to 1.008GB. It will show in Windows as a Disc Image File, but actually has a .iso extension if you check its Properties (swdl_boombox_6.5GT.iso). Copy this file into the root directory of the USB drive. It won't be found if it is placed in a directory folder.
3) Plug the USB drive into the cable in your glove box of the bike and turn the ignition to Accessory or On. The Infotainment System will read the USB drive and automatically begin the update process. You will need to confirm the update, then it will do everything else for you.
