Noticed my brake lights staying on and cruise control not working, have some slop; about a 1/2 inch in brake hand lever before front brakes work, going down road wind pushes lever in just enough to keep brake lights on and cruise control inactive. Anyway to take out that "slop" ??

The lever tab isn't contacting the front brake switch that's located inside the switch housing.
First make sure the switch housing is butted up tight against the front master cylinder clamp. Might have to loosen screws, push housing together and re-tighten the screws.
Second, squirt some lube into the lever between the switch housing where the brake plunger is located.
Third, bleed front caliper.
Fourth, it would be nice to know what kind of bike you have !!!

That would probably help. Its an 07 Ultra Classic. Sorry about that I was in the parts business for 25 years you'd think I might remember that !!

Problem fixed. Pulled pin, on brake handle, sprayed a little lube, reassembled and worked like new. Thanks !!
