During WWII, the British Royal Navy created an all female corps whose members were nicknamed the Wrens. One of their most notable duties was as dispatch riders for both the Admiralty and the Royal Navy. This turned out to be a tough assignment as German bombs made travel increasingly difficult as the war progressed. I bet some of these women had some great stories to tell of their service.

I love their confidence, focus and determination. I thought it was brilliant to paint their goal for the war on the tank!!! :) :USA

Groups like these women rarely get the credit they deserve for their part in winning the war. Without them, who knows what would have happened.

Great story! Thanks for sharing!
