Friend was tightening the bottom bolts on the forks, the ones on the throttle side.

They are the two that stick down that tighten on with a bracket.

One of the screws broke, now what?

Does the cap come off with the bolts out ? If so take the cap off and use vise grips or stud remover. If its broken off with no exposed stud/bolt just center punch the broken bolt drill and easy out should do the trick.

Sometimes, after the bolt head breaks off, the bolt stud spins easily. Of course, barring there's no threadlock.

Centerpunch, drill, e-z out, or complete drill through, if threadlocked.

Heat to break down the locktight and a left hand drill bit might spin it out.
