I was sort of thinking about getting one of these for my 08 FLHR I guess my questions would be:

1: anyone have problems with reflections from the sun?

2: do these units hold up well ? ( I asked that as I remember a few years ago many folks were complaining that these combo units did not hold up)

I put the spun aluminum guages on my bike, is this what you mean (but with the combo unit instead)?

1: The only problem I had with sun reflections was on the handle bar clamp/tach mount, so I had it powdercoated texture black.

2: Cant answer your question about combo unit durability.
