I pulled the trigger yesterday and got myself on the SGS. Amazed at how much better it handles than the Breakout. Love this bike, no complaints at all.

See that button just behind the clutch lever? I know what that's for. ;) Sweet!
See that button just behind the clutch lever? Now I know what that's for. ;) Sweet!

There I fixed that for you.

Congrats SPL, hope you enjoy it as much as I have mine for the last 2.5 months.
I'm sure you will enjoy that SG, but wouldn't it be sweet to have both the SG and the Breakout sitting in the garage?

+1....Wish I still had my FXR!!! to of course go with the RK!!
That's one sweet lookin scoot right there! Congrats!
Thanks everyone! I've been riding the piss out of this bike. The more I ride it the more it fits. Handles so much better than the BO. I do miss it and wish I could have kept it as well, it just wasn't the future for me. Honestly, I shoulda done this the first time. :)
Congrats and nice bike. Now that you went touring it will be hard to not have one as the primary bike. But it would have been sweet to have the BO too. I want a Fat Bob or Street Bob to hang with my road glide.
I just did the same thing yesterday, 2013 Breakout for 2014 SGS. Congrats!
I got a 13 Road Glide Ultra about a month ago, couldn't bring myself to sell the Breakout, so I have 2 in the garage now.

After some riding, I am a little miffed about the suspension. Feels like my old sport bike. I guess that's just the way it is, my rear suspension is all the way down and I'm around 175lbs so that should be right. Any options for improvement in that area?

Congrats TMAN!

I'm not 100 percent sure... But you don't have the air ride... You have adjustable shocks... What do you have them set at?

Lowest setting. I went up 4 clicks and didn't really notice much difference. It's really not much adjustment either, though.

The 2014 SG & SGS have air adjustable rear shocks. You need the special air pump to increase the air pressure thus changing the suspension performance and ride.

Here is the H-D air pump I have and use--->Touring Suspension Air Pump-54630-03A

BTW, your owner's manual describes the suspension system and how to adjust it. Read it carefully! It's important!
