Cam swap questions

I'm doing a cam upgrade on my 07 ultra classic with 39 k on the odometer. Going with wood's 222 chain drive and the fuel moto install kit with the new lifters.
I have been told that OEM oil pump and cam plate are sufficient so it's just extra money to upgrade. I'm still on the fence on that one so any experience y'all can share is appreciated.
What else should I replace while I'm in there? Should I replace chains and sprockets as a matter of course?
Any advice or tricks to know are welcome.
Thanks

Yeah the bearings that I put in were a definite upgrade from stock. Baisley spring brought the pressure up to the point that the gauge doesn't freak me out anymore. Other than the grooves in the tensioner shoes everything else looked new with no sign of wear.
The really amazing thing was that the crank runout was only .002!

if you go with up graded oil pump you must change cam plate also as a fueling hp+ oil pump locked up bike with stock plate. im running fueling plate, oil pump hp+, fueling adjustable push rods, fueling lifters and MR103c cam. SE air cleaner plus Vance and Hines pro pipe 2-1 its now feels like a monster. rips rear tire when you jump on it.
