On a 89 tour glide...can u add those lower leg fairings to a bike that doesn't have them? Will they just bolt on if u can or do u need all new crash bars? Thanks

I see that ebay sells them!
Probably not. Road Glide and Electra Glide lowers are different, due to the R.G. fairing bolting on/near the top of the highway bar. R.G. lowers don't stick up as far. Lots of changes between your frame and newer, I don't know how much was in the highway bar/lower fairing area.
You could wear catcher's shin guards. ;)
packaderms , they do a good job for cold weather riding and are relatively affordable.******
Oh man I didn't realize they were different. U guys saved me from a fatal mistake! Damn. So I need to find used tour glide specific fairings then?
I bought a set of Elephant ears for mine off Ebay
they are a heavy leather or Vinyl that snap around highway bar
I've wore my Black Blizzard proof Carhardt Bibs on a cool damp day too.....toastie
Are 89's different than the 95 models? The microfiche seems to show that the tour glide and ultras are the same for that year 95...
You can do anything with duct tape and tie wraps.
