Charging problems

2010 FLHTCU. Check engine light + red battery light accompanied by fluctuating voltage between 12 & 13 volts. Battery new and showing 12.55 volts. Connections to battery, starter, & engine ground tight. Stater input to voltage regulator 6 ohms +or-.

Regulator is going bad
2010 FLHTCU. Check engine light + red battery light accompanied by fluctuating voltage between 12 & 13 volts. Battery new and showing 12.55 volts. Connections to battery, starter, & engine ground tight. Stater input to voltage regulator 6 ohms +or-.
Stator is bad.
Test from each connector pin to ground, should not read continuity. Then test AC output from the stator with the engine running. Should be approx. 15v AC per 1000 RPMs. Connect meter leads to both stator pins for test, pin to pin.

stator or one of the magnets let go on the flywheel maybe!!
