Change the rotor out to the 45 amp one. The stator is the same part number.

There are 50 amp rotors and stators on the market also.
I think you would either have to use after market parts, or change the rotor, stator and voltage regulator. I believe the 45 amp factory unit is a 3-phase and the 38 is a single phase unit. All parts would be different.
Just curious if this is in relationship to your post HERE?
It`s your bike. You are entitled to throw all the money at it you wish to.
I plan on upgrading my charging system down the road myself.
But if this is related then am curious if you had the battery load tested. Checked the connections.
And the questions regarding the compression, which you said you felt may be a problem, were never answered.
Inquiring minds, at least mine, would like to know.
