Started this over on the VRF, and have since learned that exhaust nuts coming loose is not just a V-Rod thing. Good idea to check them whenever you change your oil (per Max!). Discovered my rear exhaust nuts were missing, and one front was 4 turns loose. They are 13mm on the the V-Rod.

Hard to keep threadlock on hot parts like that. Good you found it before it became a problem....

They are both there. So are my exhaust fasteners. Thanks mine were a tad loose.

I checked mine as part of my 1k and did indeed find one loose. All they need to do is swap the exhaust-nut-tightener dude at the factory with the oil-filter-tightener dude and they will have both problems solved. I still kinda got my panties in a knot over that oil filter.

For certain bolts/nuts/fasteners, I've always been fond of this stuff...........

Is it overkill......? Probably.

Does it stop nuts, bolts or screws from coming undone? Like a Mo-fo.....

Wow, you actually did it right.

Most people don't know how to make the loosening of one nut tighten the other and vice-versa. You would be amazed the stuff I have seen working tech at WERA events.
