The Chinese are very good at copying yep it looks nice but I wonder how reliable it is along with the wiring if that is on par with what they are building today .
Here in UK we have a glut of Chinese scooters cheap to buy but build quality and reliability is pure crap alongside their small engined motorcycles .
In 2035 no new vehicle either car or motorcycle run on a combustion engine will be made only electric .....
Most likely go the same way in America

Brought to you by China and Italy...... The Chinese have been Cloning Western Manufactured Goods for Years. Examples are all the Small Engines from China. They are Honda Clones, Exact Clones. Chi a Reverse Engineers these so they are interchangeable. Yep the Honda Parts bolt right on the Chineese Engines. The Honda costs $400, Chineese Clone $160, as they have no Engineering cost to recover. Next Up a Shineray Ulta Crassic.......
I own a CFMOTO CForce 400 ATV. It is Chinese made, but definitely a higher quality build than what you would normally see from China. They partner with KTM as well. The reviews are pretty good and the price is attractive. It's not a Honda, but it does the job. They have a US headquarters right here in the Twin Cities, Minnesota.

True...and that knock off Sporty looks pretty good.. and it sounds pretty good too
I've worked around all sorts of manufacturing in my day and that's not how it really works. You can't just take a few measurements from a product and then clone it. There is so much more to that from metallurgy to tolerance stacking to contend with. If they stole the prints, maybe. Either way, they still have plenty of engineering costs.

Well successive governments sold off the manufacturing and everything else they could sadly this country is just a warehouse for shit made in China ..
Everywhere you go along the motorway network huge and I mean huge warehouses are being put up and for what ?
Not home built manufacturing of goods its all imported mostly from China

That's about all you can do is "try" to avoid Chinesium.
However, to say all Chinese manufactured items are sub-par simply isn't true. Just like America, they have highly advanced manufacturing with high standards of quality, then they have cheap junk. Most US companies go to China because of the cheap junk and to maximum profits it offers them. Every once in a while a company like Apple goes there to manufacture high quality items.
With that being said, 99% of anything that has electrical current has at least some parts made in China these days. There are entire products that are no longer made in the US. An example of that is the failure of Zenith televisions back in 1995. They were the last US brand to make TV's. Now every television you buy is in part, or in whole, made somewhere in Asia and almost all have some Chinese components.

Chinese company Geely China's largest car manufacturer for the past five years selling selling 1.38 million cars in 2021 and owns brands such as Volvo, Polestar, part of Volvo, Lotus and also has stake in Aston Martin plus manufacturing their own cars for sale in the east. China is also the biggest manufacturer of the worlds semiconductors which go into pretty much every electronic item including computers, cars, bikes, TV's etc, that's why there's a world shortage as China was shut down due to the pandemic. Yes they do make some cheap shit but the world relies on them for so much, unfortunately but with their labour so cheap we in the west just can't compete.

Apple an American company, I phones made in China. China is the top exporter of electronics to the US with 42 percent coming from their. The world made a rod for their own backs by setting up companies in China because of the cheap labour and once the Chinese learnt the skills they set up their own companies. China made it a priority to out cheap everyone and hence become the biggest producer of electronic items, be it components or complete items. So to everyone who says they haven't and wouldn't buy anything from China you almost definitely have like it or not, unless you live in a cave and live off the land.
