The motor is looking cool with those heads. What kind of coating is it?

That bike is looking sick!

Factory engines have a clearcoat of powdercoating on them which when it goes south, look hidious. My motorcycle was left outside for a few years, prior to me getting it and that powdercoating gets cloudy and all crappy when that happens.

I smoothed it out, used the same self-etching primer and shot it with Krylon BBQ & Stove paint that's high heat. That's over a year old and no signs of wear. this is the 4th engine I've dome thins way. In the event that chemicals damage it, just reshoot and touch up.
